| Except for one teeny tiny thing. But - -Went to a funeral today. A lady I knew but not too well. She was more a friend of my family in general than me personally. Cancer. It was sad. She had little kids. -After this, I dropped into the hospital to see my grandmother. She has been in hospital since Saturday. ( It’s been almost exactly five months since my grandfather died, I’ve been wondering for a while now if my grandmother will live to see the end of the year. Last year took an awful lot out of her.) She looked tired. Very tired. -Got my hair done then. It needed a cut. -Wandered around for… well… about three hours following this because as ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) mistful put it- Don't get me wrong. I like Ireland fine, but our seasons go much like this: chill wintry rain, brisk autumnal rain, refreshing spring rain and gentle summery rain. -- and today like the last few days was hot. Hot for this country at least. The temperature rose to about 25 degrees (that’s Celsius not Fahrenheit.) and the sea breeze was waaaarm~ It was glorious frankly. I walked and walked until my legs were knackered. Headed out along the canal in town, right down to the bay. … got home. Looked at my hair properly. …Threw a little hissy fit. They spike it at the salon you see! (My hair is Very Short?) So I could not tell properly there! But when you- or I in this case- got home and washed it- … it’s still too long! And I suggested to my hairdresser (in that please make sure it’s short enough, you know how I like it yes?) to make it short-. I assumed she would listen? I did! It’s not short enough. Not nearly. I tried calling the salon but no answer. Then I flailed. :sighs: That’s my teeny tiny thing ( I think I may be picky, I don’t care. I pay for a hair cut, I expect them to do it right? Should have doubled checked before I left the salon, or town, but nooo…) Will have to call them tomorrow early and head back in. Bugger. … BUT! Am heading out in less than two days. I am twitchy to get going now. Looking forward to seeing sinistersundown and setsuna~! (And a few others on my f-list at ACen =DD )… Chicago is colder than Ireland ATM though . My brain is going ‘WTF!?’ a lot at that, I was(am?) expecting it to be warmer there than it is here. So far this does not seem to be the case. ;.; Should I be bringing an umbrella? Coat? ;.; Hat and scarf?! ( In my defense, I get cold easily. :coughs: ) …Just to warn you sinistersundown, I plan on making chocolate chip cheesecake not long after I get there! | We had something else planned for cutting senselessly today, but SOMEBODY made it known around that "I like Mudkips" and I was assigned to assign these instead. WHOEVER PULLED THAT PRANK OFF, IT'S NOT FUNNY! *ahem* anyway. Welcome back to Zoology. Today we will begin our first dissection assignment. Everyone team up in pairs and grab yourself a mudkip corpse. Squeamish sissies can drop from the class because we'll be doing this a lot. Non-human students with unable hands can do what they can for now or postpone the assignment for after tomarrow's gijinka seminar. I will write the instructions on the board. | So I just saw Iron Man earlier.
NOT because I wanted to, mind you. I really didn't have any desire to see it because once you've seen one Marvel superhero movie, then you've seen them all. The thing is we didn't get to do anything with mom for mother's day, so Mom wanted to see Iron Man with me and Pip. So I ended up going to see it.
I won't spoil anything but I will say it was quite a grand display. A tad different then what I'm used to seeing in things like Spider-Man, X-Men, Ghost Rider, etc. Tony Stark actually had a PERSONALITY. XD And the story was good, too. Not much else to say past that.
Also, I -might- be going with Pip to Orlando for his birthday. He wants to go to Downtown Disney or summat like that. I don't care as long as -I- get to see Disney Quest, the giant video game compound.
Not much else to say. So I'll be watching the three-ring circus that is RAW now. Later. - Mood:full

| Due to everything that's been going on, my roommate neglected to pay the cable bill. I'm not too broken up about it, but we don't have the money together to get it turned back on. Therefore, I'm not going to be on much in the near future. We might be able to do it sometime soon, might not.
I'll still work on commissions and stuff when I can if I have refs etc. :)
I just miss Eri ;3; Oh well, there's still the phone. | |

| Welcome back to all those who had the pleasure of having me as a teacher last year. I know that you know what I expect from you. As for the rest of you *smiles evilly* Welcome to Physical Education. Your teacher, one Waluigi Aoki Martinet. I won't mince words. This class will be brutal. You will hate me. You may even want to kill me. Just remember that I am legally allowed to hit you with a baseball bat and no one in the school will bat an eye. But at the end of this school year, you will not only be much more in tune with your physique, you'll hopefully be able to RUN AN ENTIRE LAP WITHOUT TRIPPING.
We'll be doing everything from working out to playing various sports. Heck, if everyone somehow behaves (ahahaha no way), I might even take you all out to go do some karting. You'll still be graded on your performance of course. And I might throw in items in there.
But I disgress. That's a huge IF.
We've got to work a lot of work ahead of ourselves if that's to happen.
So listen up LADIES, it's time to put on your shorts and do some sweat'n, Waluigi Style.
Yeah, I don't care what you look like right now. After all, Waluigi is no judge of appearence (look at me, I've got a pink nose for Mk's sake). You could be a purple glowing space dinosaur for all I care, shorts are a requirement, I don't want any of you to run around with your equipment dangling in the open. A tank top for the ladies as well, I don't want the males ladies with to be distracted. If you can't fit in the ones I have in the huge pile in front of me, you either make your own, or you steal them from someone else.
Today's class will be a basic warming up excersize, (50 jumping jacks and stretching, then 30 situps) then a basic walk & run. That's it. So simple even a freakn' GOOMBA could do this.
So do your warmups, then walk around the track like you'd normally do while I grade you for your potential and tiers. | |

| Just saw a blonde crow! O.o
I've seen a lot of leucistic (like albino, but without the red eyes) jackdaws and crows round here, but usually they just have a few white feathers mixed in with the black. This one was the first i've seen that was pale all over- a very light grey/cream apart from the black beak and eyes. It was adorable, even if I couldn't tell what the heck it was at first ^_^'
I just wish the bus had at least slowed down so I could get a photo... ah well, maybe I'll see him/her again :P - Mood:aww yay

| ...it's over?
Hell yeah, it's over!
It's weird. Class ended later than the last two years (I got out on May 2nd last year and May 4th in 2006), and yet it doesn't feel like the end of the semester. Probably because it's cold and raining outside. It was really warm and sunny the other times.
I'm still letting this sink in. It feels like just yesterday that my last summer break and Otakon 07 STARTED. And now, it's already time to focus on my trip this year again!
Unfortunately, I still have work tonight. I did last year too. In fact, the last day of class last year was on 31-cent scoop night. Now that was insane. We literally had every employee working at the same time. It was the only time we had a line out the door for an entire shift.
Nothing like that's happening this year though. Well maybe it is, but we don't have ice cream at our store anymore, so it doesn't matter.
I remember as soon as that was done, I came home, talked to my friends and played video games ALL NIGHT. And I don't mean til like 3 or 4AM, I mean I stayed up til 6:30 in the morning.
...come to think of it, though, I never did break my habit of staying up really late. That kinda started at the beginning of last summer and I told myself I wanted to stop that at the end of it... but I never did XD
But anyway, HELL YEAH SUMMER BREAK! I've gotta start enjoying it as soon as I can. Let's see... definitely getting started on Gurren Lagann this week (I'll start d/ling it today and watch it tomorrow through Thursday). Maybe I'll finally tackle the "beating All-Star mode with everyone" challenge in Brawl.
Maybe I should get sushi tonight to kick off summer the right way.
Okay, that's it. I just wanted an excuse to make my traditional, public "summer break is here" post. Anyone who's not on my list, check back in a few months for San Diego Comic-Con reports. | |

| hey hey listen hey jump. First off, prismaya, I'm not trying to single you out. I've seen this happen SO MANY times before, but I honestly hadn't thought of it until your most recent Geno post. The question for role-players: Should quizzes and memes like that be allowed? Specifically ones with Mario, Pokémon, or any other Smash Brothers people/events in them? Personally, I'd say no, since it seems very breaking-the-fourth-wall-ish to me. Though I know some people don't have a problem with it. And, I suppose if people still want to keep them, people like myself don't have to pay attention/participate in them. lol. Up to you guys. I kind of wish that I'd known a lot of information about the school beforehand, because I would have kept that Marth was a prince. So I just think it's good to get questions like these out of the way in the very beginning... I mean... Leon's dissecting animals. lollllugh school. - Mood:groggy

| Oh my god. The Mr. Driller: Drill Land Soundtrack has to be one of THE most EPIC SOUNDTRACKS I have ever heard. I did not expect the music to be this awesome. Jesus.;_; I wish this game came to America, darnit. It only didn't because it didn't sell well in Japan... die wei en heizen is very epic, same with epunam. And Boku No Chikyu bokura no chikyu has to be the cutest song ever. *_*; - Mood:shocked

Tonight, Kyle and I embarked upon a great adventure!. It was dingy, it was dark, it was dirty, it had God knows what horrors hiding deep within it's depths...
But it was time.
Taking his trusty Bag of Holding1 in hand, Kyle ventured into the depths first, with the intention of warding off Crawlies2 that might be lurking in any crevace, keeping his trusty White Ofuda3 near to help him defeat them in a trifle! He found himself presented with all manner of Lost Treasures4 and Forgotten Relics5, each of which needed to be carefully inspected for Ancient Runes6 and either kept or discarded based upon what each inscription told us. I kept close at hand and helped him translate each, to be sure if it was something we wanted to keep or discard, not wanting to potentially face the Wrath of Angry Gods7.
Finally having gotten through both treasure and debris, I took up my Sweeping Blade8 and Shield of Gathering9 and proceeded to do battle with the Vicious Furry Beasts10 while avoiding and removing Death Traps11. It was a fierce and long fought battle! But I emerged victorous!
Having completed the hard battle we knew we were meant to fight, we were finally able to take our Lost Treasures and Forgotten Relics and return each of them to their rightful and proper places. And it was with much satisfaction that we surveyed our labours and then doused our Eternal Torch12 and once again placed The Seal13 upon the opening!
Our adventure into The Temple of Lost Snacks14 had come to an end!
..... I can't believe we carted THREE FULL TRASHBAGS out of our damned pantry... But my GOD does it ever look nice and neat and tidy again! ♥♥♥

|  LOOK WHAT I MADE a few days ago :DD I can't believe there was actually a papercraft template for him! XD I've never done one before, but I had to try it. I think it came out pretty cute! He just chills on my desk :D So cute. Now all I need is a plushie. I'm also making progress translating the dialog scenes from Mr. Driller A, since it was never brought over here. ...I know no one cares...but I want to do it anyway! Thus the reason I'm playing it so much, so I can finally beat the story! It's so hard getting past 1500m T_T; I need a controller for me computer or something. | |
